D-Lab's Evil Twin's Class AB amps

Special project, Made in the USA. Only 2 made. One runs a set of 6V6's (18 W) and the other 6L6's (40 W). Housed in a twin 8" speaker (Jensen Ceramics) cabinet. Ultra-Linear Output transformers. Class AB (push pull) operation. Adjustable bias with monitor TP. Point to point wired utilizing a modified Princeton eyelet board. Both models have a 5AR4 (GZ34) rectifier and a pair of 12AX7's. The tremolo circuit utilizes switching to allow operation from the front panel or rear footswitch. Very deep Tremolo, connected directly to the output tube grids.  Special feature is D-Lab's custom bass control (Opti-Plex). This control acts as a Bandwidth adjust. The Treble is more of a Mid to high sweep. Cabinets are approx 20 x 14 x 10". Great compact power house machines. ONE of a KIND. Not to be reproduced. Lots of time and money invested. $900.00 ea. Special build! This one features a 12AX7 Preamp/Tremolo, 6V6 x 2 output and a 5AR4 Rectifier. I used a larger power transformer/added a choke/bumped the rectifier to a 5AR4/added variable bias/Improved Tone circuit with bypass switch/Tremolo switched on Intensity pot rather than a rear foot switch jack/plus many other improvements which emiulates Fender Deluxe performance. This amp is housed in a Used Original Fender cabinet (does have a few battle scars). Vintage components utilized (Princeton eyelet board). Custom Power tranny from Triode (Chicago). 12" Jensen Speaker. Tubes are USA type. The 12ax7's are old stock gold pin Realistics, made in Japan. Rated 15 watts. Point to point wired. Red Glass dial lamp. Custom engraved control panel. See the Youtube demo video below after the pictures. This amp took lots of time and money. Invested at least $400 in parts and over 40 hours to construct. This one is my last of the Princeton series. $690.00
