Welcome to D-Lab Electronics. The shop name is a take off from a US Air Force electronics lab (E-Lab). I was active duty Air Force for twelve years working on Minuteman and Peacekeeper Missile weapon systems. Due to the end of the Cold War in 1992, the fleet was downsized. So, I got out and opened an electronics shop specializing in Classic Stereo repair. After about 2 years of that, I hired into Automotive Industrial controls and software. On the side, GHS/Rocktron contracts me to perform Warranty repair on their line of guitar amps and rack mount digital effects, such as the Prophesy and All Access. Still going strong and has inspired me to get more into the music industry. A few years back, I designed a free running Analog Synth called the Multi-Plexer. This gizmo will produce the famous sounds that you heard on Lost In Space and Forbidden Planet. Plus, you can play your guitar or keyboard through it and they come in different colors. I sold them for about 3 years before diving into the Custom Designed Tube amp gig. I still have materials to build Multi-Plexers, just ask. I do not play the guitar (Yet), just design the amps and get input from the players as to what they desire for features. The amp line has really taken off. I have many models to offer in the 3-5 watt range. Also, if you desire, the amp can be completely designed to your specifications, colors, circuitry and graphics. Send me an e-mail and we can discuss the details. I have cabinet makers, Laser art engraving and a full machine shop avaliable.
Other services that I perform locally are assistance with Industrial plus Home automation Controls. Software programming (DasyLab, Think&Do, Ladder Logic) and can assist you with quick fixture generation, including specifying sensors and proper configuration for your process. I have the in house capabilities to design and manufacture small quantities of circuit boards for your proto-type application. I deal with a great company in Detroit that can take our final design into production if larger amounts are needed. I recently completed a project for Borg Warner Cooling systems for a neat test fixture control interface. D-Lab can provide this service at a fraction of other outside engineering facilities. Drop me a line with your control needs. If I can't do it, I will guide you in the correct direction. |
