Affordable Guitar AmpsD-Lab's New 6L6 Class AB Amp! Vintage Head design tube Guitar amp. Beautiful wood cabinet created by my Dad back in 2006. A good friend of mine (Ric Carpenter, EE Eng) assisted with the design. Both have since passed away. This amp will not be reproduced. The goal was to design a powerful spring reverb amp, straight forward design to allow the true tone of your guitar to come thru. Well here it is. The design is close to my famous Victory amp. Measures approx: 16 x 10 x 10". This one features 12AX7 Preamp (great gain), Pair of 6L6 output tubes and 5U4 Rectification. The Inverter 6SL7 is unique in sound + very symetrical. The reverb tube is protected with a zener diode voltage regulator, so no smoking your R-Tranny! Vintage components utilized. Power tranny is a Monster Hammond! Rear jack for external 8 or 4 ohm speakers. Rated approx 40 watts. Point to point wired. Ultra-Linear output transformer. Tone control has a bypass switch. This amp sounds like a Million, lots of punch, Bold. One of my best! $$. $650.00. D-Lab's New LS-147 Modified Class A Amp! 1940's Vintage Navy Intercom turned into a tube Guitar head. This one features 12AX7 Preamp (great gain), 6AQ5 output tube and 6X4 Rectification. Very cool green panel lamp. Vintage components utilized. Built in 4" speaker. Rear jack for external 8 ohm speaker, which switches off internal one when used. The internal speaker is just for practice, don't expect it to sound like a Marshall stack. For the best sound, plug in an external. Features a RCA line out jack on rear. Power switch is also on the rear panel. Rated approx 4 watts. Point to point wired. I was able to utilize the current power and output transformers. The 6X4 and 6AQ5 are original. I had to add the 12AX7 to achieve the gain needed for a guitar input. I did not repaint the cabinet or re-label the controls. I wanted to keep it original. It was there for the days of war, it should stay that way, so there are some scratches, rust, dents, etc. As viewed from front panel, controls are as follows: 1/4" input jack, Master Volume (Receive) Tone with bypass switch ( Press to talk) Gain (Send) This amp sounds like a Million $$. A fellow came over and played it, loved the fullness and break-up. Working on a Youtube. $295.00. D-Labs' Crosley 6K6 amp. An absolute beauty! Yes, the amp and my Grand daughter! Class A super rich tone. Cabinet has been restored by my Uncle in TN. Rare cabinet here my friends. Tone control is switched for bypass operation. Power Switch is a 1960's 2 pos rotary type. Rear panel is original but modified for new chassis requirements. 4 watter. 4 or 8 Ohm speaker connections. Very bold sound. perfect for bedroom playing. $350.00 + shipping
